Chosen as Best in Test in Sweden, Norway and Denmark in 2020, this is our absolutely most durable ReimaTec one-piece. This Reima classic was born in 2014. We named it so, because thanks to its insulation and super strong fabric, it stands up to the weather of the ice-coated shores of the North Atlantic, just like the Norwegian city it got its name from.
The waterproof fabric in this product is excellent for very wet weather, snow and active play.

All seams have been taped to be waterproof. The product is waterproof.

Best winter outerwear I've ever
Best winter outerwear I've ever purchased, so impressed by the top quality!! They thought of every little detail. It wasn't clear from the description but the fur part is actually removable (not just the entire hood), which is perfect as I wanted a hood but not the faux fur. My boys both said it was the warmest, most comfortable winter gear they'd ever worn, and kept them dry even when playing in water. Will be purchasing all of our winter and rain gear here from now on!

We got this suit for my 8 year old who attends a full time forest school in Michigan. He loves to slide on logs and climb trees, and he lives for mud. He also has sensory issues with clothes and is super picky- no tags, and he will only wear super soft fabrics (cotton tshirts are too scratchy for him). We LOVE this suit. Last year he was wearing through waterproof snow pants that cost in the $70 range about once every 2 months, and they weren't really waterproof. We have a few months of weather around 20 degrees F, and a few months where it's snowy and around 30, and the snow melts before it falls off the kids and they end up soaked. This suit was a game changer. If the outside temp is higher than the teens, he just wears shorts and a tshirt under it, or he gets too hot. He told me he's sat in mud puddles and stayed dry. Somehow dirt doesn't stick to the fabric too badly, so even with his mud bathing we've been able to just shake it out. He rolls down hills and falls off his sled into bushes and slides out of trees with this thing, and it still looks new. I got it big enough that it comes about 3 inches below his feet and he walks on it until he puts his boots on, but then the boots are wide enough that the bottoms of the pants stay up around his ankles and don't get stepped on. The fabric is soft enough that the extra bulk doesn't bother him. It also feels like canvas rather than "snowsuit material" so it doesn't make the snowsuit swishy noise! I'm not sure what dark magic goes into creating this fabric but whatever it is, we are buying it again in two years when he outgrows this one.

My daughter loves it, it's for next year! We've known the Reims suits for 2 years and we love them! They are warm but not too bulky, allowing them to move and stay securely fastened in the car seat. Maintenance is easy. The Genoa ones eventually fade a bit, but I've never had a hole (unlike other brands).

The only snowsuit we'll buy
We had (and loved) the toddler version of this snowsuit, so it was an easy choice to buy this one for our growing kid. Excellent design and construction — roomy and remarkably easy to get in and out of — 10/10 per usual.

Super winter suit!
This is our second Reima "Stavanger" winter suit, we are so pleased with it! The child is well and warm even in temperatures down to -25°C. We bought the same one as we had before for the simple reason that the old one was outgrown - and we were very, very satisfied with it👍

Kid has been outside everyday
My son has been outside everyday since getting this snowsuit. He is 47” tall and I got the sz 7. It fits well and keeps him warm. Seems well made and durable. I would only change the hood so that it extended a bit further.

Small flaws
Otherwise good, but the snaps on the hood hold a bit weakly. In addition, one of the buckles on the foot strap came off almost immediately after purchase. Has the quality gone down? Otherwise, it has worked flawlessly, is warm, waterproof, and breathable.

A thicker snowsuit was bought for our 6-year-old sensory hypersensitive child for the cold weather, as he cannot wear mid-layers because everything itches/feels uncomfortable. This snowsuit was our absolute lifesaver. The child stays warm even in the harshest cold and no longer needs to fight about getting dressed when going outside. Stavanger snowsuit is an amazing good quality product
The quality of the snowsuit is outstanding. It even has reflective taping. My grandson is very tall for 17 months, so we ordered size 3T. Turns out it was too big. We returned the product and received size 2T which is a better fit and should last him for the following winter. Highly recommend this product.

Amazing snowsuit
At first got a size a little to big but exchanged went extra smooth and fast. This snowsuit has is an absolute lifesaver during cold winter days. It’s incredibly warm without being bulky, and my child stays cozy even after long hours playing outside in the snow. The insulation is excellent.

Super warm super cute
Excellent for cold snowy days or for chilly rainy day as the waterproofing is top notch. Bought 2T size for my 2. 5 year old (she is small) and there is PLENTY of room to grow into, but it’s not too big or baggy for this year either. She will definitely be wearing it next year at age 3. 5. Glad I didn’t size up to 3T to account for multiple years of use because we can do that with the 2T.
