The shoes feel damp

Wet feet
My kid loves these shoes and says they are comfortable, but unfortunately they are not waterproof. I purchased these specifically as an option instead of rain boots so my kid can run around the playground better. He gets wet socks and feet every time he plays outside for more than a few minutes (not from jumping in puddles - just running around). I think when rain hits the top of the boot it might wick down through the fabric. Once they get wet, they take a long time to dry.

Yes, the shoes look great, but they are not waterproof! My child's shoes were completely wet after the walk, even though it didn't rain or snow. The child only played in wet sand.
